Meet Katherine

Meet Katherine, co-owner, trainer, studio manager and the little sister of the sibling trio at Chelsea Athletica. Katherine grew up as a competitive paddler, she has had the opportunity to have travelled to over 26 countries and recently got her degree in Marketing & Entrepreneurship at Bishop’s University before settling back into Chelsea to open the doors to Chelsea Athletica.

Katherine’s love for group fitness led her to taking her CF-L1 certification in 2020 and has been a trainer in the fitness industry ever since. After finding the perfect balance between functional strength training and pilates in her own workout routine, she decided to become a certified Pilates teacher in 2023 as well in order to bring Mat Pilates to Athletica.

Her passion for branding, interior decorating and community comes to life at Chelsea Athletica. Katherine thrives on a good routine that most likely involves hitting the 6am class, grabbing a coffee at Les Saisons, then starting her day at Athletica tackling her list of things to do from cleaning the gym floors to making Athletica’s newest Instagram reel!

Favourite part about Athletica? I know this is so cheesy, but it’s the people. We’re so lucky to have the best members, who truly make what Athletica is, without them we’d just be a big empty barn with some weights in it. One of the best parts of my weeks at Athletica is when I get the chance to hop into a class and train alongside our members. I genuinely love getting to know everyone who walks through our doors and feel very grateful that they’ve chosen to train at Athletica.
