Welcome to Chelsea Athletica - here are a few things to know before your first class.

PRE-REGISTER FOR CLASS

Once you’ve registered for your first class, you’ll need to download the Chelsea Athletica app to easily manage your future bookings. Through the app, you can pre-register for classes, view the workouts beforehand, and make adjustments to your bookings—all from the convenience of your phone. It’s the quickest way to ensure you never miss a class.

CHECK-IN ON THE IPAD WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive at the gym, simply use the self check-in iPad located in the lobby, you’re name should be on the list if you’ve pre-registered. After checking in, feel free to store your belongings in the cubbies, which are located just around the corner from the front desk. You’ll also find our washrooms in this area.

Sauna Usage

When you attend a class at Chelsea Athletica, you’re welcome to enjoy our sauna afterward. To ensure it’s warmed up and ready for you, please let your trainer know at the start of class if you'd like to use it. We kindly ask that members refrain from turning it on themselves or to come use it when not attending a class. For your comfort, please bring a towel, flip flops, and a bathing suit if you plan to use the sauna.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOu

Please bring comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle (which you can refill at our water fountain upon arrival), and, most importantly, indoor workout shoes. For the cleanliness of the gym, outdoor shoes are not permitted.

ARRIVE 5-10 MINUTES EARLY

Punctuality is key to getting the most out of your experience! Be sure to arrive a little early to check in, get settled, and be ready to start on time.

What to do before your class begins

If there is no class before yours, you’re welcome to enter the gym early and warm up on a machine or take some time to stretch before class begins. Once the class starts, your trainer will guide you through a specific warm-up.

If there is a class before yours, we kindly ask that you wait in the lobby, hallway, or use our upstairs space to stretch. Your trainer will call you into the gym when your class is ready to begin!

Burn,Flow & Restore class must knows

Our Burn (Mat Pilates), Flow (Yoga), and Restore (Yin Yoga) classes are held in our upstairs space. These classes are shoe-free, and we provide all the necessary equipment, including our lululemon mats, at no additional cost. Of course, if you prefer to bring your own mat, you’re more than welcome! Please note that our pre-registration, check-in, late cancel, and no-show policies apply as usual for these classes.
