Meet Sage
Meet Sage. Her love for fitness started in 2015 when her twin brother convinced her to try a drop-in at his gym. Since then, she’s been drawn to the challenge, the confidence it built, and, most of all, the incredible sense of community. A Registered Nurse and former healthcare leader, Sage recently moved to the area with her military family. The move gave her the chance to step back and focus on what brings her the most fulfillment—being part of the fitness community that has given her so much over the years. She's been fortunate to learn from outstanding coaches at several Winnipeg gyms, each of whom helped shape her approach to training and coaching.
Outside the gym, Sage has been having fun getting into open water swimming, road cycling, and exploring the trails with her two dogs. A visit to a cute local cafe and bakery is also usually on the agenda.

Best concert? Backstreet Boys!
Best part about Chelsea? Just the vibes - nothing better than grabbing a treat from one of the cafes then heading to the trails or beach.
Favourite artist? Not sure I have one - but I’d be pretty pumped to go see Taylor Swift in concert.
Something we might not know about you? I’ve got a twin brother who is also a trainer.
Favourite music to workout too? Country remixes.
Favourite type of workouts? Partner workouts.
Favourite movement? Power cleans.
Favourite part about Athletica? The community! Connection with others is so important to me - when I moved here and didn’t know anyone Athletica welcomed me with open arms and gave me that feeling of community again.
